The legacy of this legendary artisan grower-producer (récoltant-manipulant) is deeply rooted in Cumières, in the heart of the Marne Valley, tracing a multi-generational family heritage in viticulture dating back to 1694. Today, the estate has evolved into an absolute icon of natural Champagne under the visionary direction of current winemaker Vincent Laval (who took over fully in 1996, following his father Georges). They are celebrated globally by connoisseurs seeking the purest, most tensile, and uncompromising expressions of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier. Vincent champions a strict organic and biodynamic philosophy—certified organic since 1971 as one of the very first in Champagne—entirely avoiding herbicides, synthetic chemicals, filtration, and unnecessary cellar interventions to ensure the unadulterated essence of the vintage remains the sole protagonist in every single glass.
