2023 MARTHE HENRY Bourgogne "Saint-Martin"
Marthe Henry, based in Meursault, is one of the most compelling artisanal producers in the Côte de Beaune today. Operating with an uncompromising commitment to organic viticulture and hands-off cellar work, Marthe crafts pure, transparent white Burgundies defined by tension, aromatic precision, and terroir expression.
The "Saint-Martin" parcel is located on the boundary of Meursault, benefiting from well-drained clay-limestone soils that combine generous texture with vibrant mineral cut. In the balanced 2023 vintage, Marthe harvested fruit of pristine ripeness and natural freshness. Vinified with indigenous yeasts, gentle whole-cluster pressing, and aged on fine lees in seasoned French oak without bâtonnage, fining, or filtration, this cuvée offers the textural richness and floral lift of a village Meursault in an energetic, accessible format.
