2025 MARC SOYARD Bourgogne "L'Équilibriste" Blanc
Marc Soyard, operating out of Domaine de la Cras just outside Dijon, is one of the most exciting and unconventional talents in modern Burgundy. Trained at Domaine Bizot in Vosne-Romanée, Marc brought Bizot's natural, low-intervention ethos—including zero added sulfur, wild yeast fermentations, and natural vineyard management—to the historic terroirs of the Côte d'Or's northern border. "L'Équilibriste" (The Tightrope Walker) perfectly embodies Marc's winemaking style: a high-wire balance between raw natural energy and absolute technical precision. Sourced from organically farmed Chardonnay parcels, the 2025 vintage captures an electric, crystalline tension with remarkable aromatic purity. Vinified without added sulfites and aged in neutral oak barrels, this cuvée offers an unadulterated, energetic expression of Chardonnay that appeals to collectors of cutting-edge, "New Burgundy" wines.
