2025 MARC SOYARD (Domaine de la Cras) Bourgogne Rouge "L'Équilibriste"
Marc Soyard (Domaine de la Cras), based in the hills overlooking Dijon, is one of the most exciting cult natural winemakers in modern Burgundy. Trained under Jean-Yves Bizot in Vosne-Romanée, Soyard carries over the same radical low-intervention ethos: organic and biodynamic farming, 100% whole-cluster fermentations, no fining, no filtration, and zero added sulfites. Cuvée "L'Équilibriste" (The Tightrope Walker) was named as a nod to balancing on the fine edge of high-wire natural winemaking without added SO₂. Sourced from estate-owned, organically farmed Pinot Noir vines on the limestone slopes of the Coteaux de Dijon, the 2025 vintage highlights Soyard's signature style—semi-carbonic whole-bunch freshness paired with energetic red fruit and floral complexity. Extremely limited in production, this bottle delivers a vibrant, pure, and boundary-pushing expression of Burgundian Pinot Noir.
